The preferred painting medium I use for my original paintings is acrylics on canvas. My experience is that the painting can slowly be designed layer by layer where acrylics are most suitable to achieve the perfect matching images and backgrounds as it dries quick and the colours can be changed and or adapted along the way of the creative journey to an unexpected end result.
My paintings are colourful and I continuously like to give a “personal touch” to my realistic images.
I have been a part of Crouse Art Gallery (SA) and have exhibited at many events and festivals in South Africa. My works have been several times in a Dutch newspaper and I was Artist of the Month in 2022 in an art competition in London (UK) , Art from Heart, with my paintings “Careless” and “Mother Nature”.
I participated in the Sanlam Portrait Competition in 2023 and was part of the top 100 with my painting “ Southern Soul” which was part of the Rust en Vrede Gallery in Capetown (SA). In the same year I made the top 50 in the Dutch Portrait Competition with my painting “Exposed”.
My paintings are sold worldwide in countries such as America, Germany, England, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
The price range of my original paintings is between € 850 and € 2500 depending on the size.
Prints are stretched or unstretched and can be ordered in different sizes. Therefore the prices are on request.
